Olympic Classes - World Championship 2018 - Aarhus DEN - Day 7 - the Swiss

The highlight of the Swiss Team came from Maud Jayet SUI yesterday with a 4th rank in the only Laser Radial race of the day, promoting her on rank 13 overall still with a chance to go forward to the Medal Race top-10 in the two races of today. Here backlog on rank 10 is 11 points.
The 470 men concluded their qualifcation for the Medal Race. Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI concluded their Championship with a remarkable 20th place in the Goldfleet. In the Silverfleet, Yves Mermod/Cyrill Schüpbach SUI finished as 43rd, David Biedermann/Jann Schüpbach SUI as 53rd.
Eliot Merceron SUI remained on rank 48 in the Lasers Standard before the last race today.
The 49erFX Silverfleet sailed two races and Livia Naef/Nelia Puhze SUI advanced on rank 48 after a 7th race rank.
Not sailing were the RS:X windsurfers with Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI.
The 49ers had to flee ashore from the approaching thunderstorm. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI sare still on rank 4 and have good chances to qualify for the Medal Race and have an Olympic berth in view.
In the Finns, Nils Theuninck SUI resumed racing after his illness and with an 8th race rank in the Silverfleet, he left the last overall position.
