Yesterday, the Final Series of the 420 Worlds started with three races for the Gold- and Silverfleets again in moderate conditions.
In the Girls, Clara Olive/Solenza Mariani FRA had a disaster day (bfd/dsq/2) and dropped on rank 7. Patricia Reino/Isabel Laiseca ESP are now in the lead with a 15 points' advantage on Maria Bover/Catarina Homar ESP. New on rank 3 are Michelle Lahrkamp/Gabriella Del Bello USA. Solène Mariani/Maude Schmid SUI follow on rank 24.
In the Open (Boys) rankings, Seb Menzies/Blake McGlashan NZL won 2 of the 3 races and extended their lead on 28 points on Martin Wizner/Pedro Ameneiro ESP. On rank 3 follow Dylan Ascencios/William George USA. Florian Geissbühler/Livio Erni SUI, the only Swiss in the Goldfleet, follow on rank 32.
In the U17 rankings, Marina Garau/Blanca Cabot ESP are first 2 points ahead of Jacopo Garcia/Antoni Ripoll ESP. Odysseas Spanakis/Konstantinos Mixalopoulos GRE are new on rank 3. The best Swiss are still Malin Karlsson/Myrlin Tappolet SUI on rank 27.
