Laser Standard & Radial - Master World Championship 2018 - Dunloa§ghaire IRL - Day 1, the Swiss

The Laser World Masters' Championship 2018 - well attended with 302 participants from 25 nations - began yesterday in Dublin IRL in a fresh 20 to 27kn breeze. In five of the 8 age categories, the favorites are already in front.
Brett Beyer AUS (Standard Master), Stephen Cockerill GBR (Radial Grand Master), Leandro Rosado ESP (Standard Apprentice), Bill Symes USA (Radial Great Grand Master) and Peter Seidenberg USA (Legends) finished first in both heats of their groups. In the Standard Grand Masters, Mark Brink USA is in the lead. The Swiss are well-positioned in the Radial Great Grand Master-category: Jean-Luc Dreyer SUI is 3rd, Lorenz Müller SUI follows on rank 6.
