Yesterday, only the Lasers Standard could sail a race in almost no wind and pouring rain. Eliot Merceron SUI is 18th with a small chance to qualify for the Medal Race in today's two heats. This morning UTC, the first Medal Races have been completed and some fleetraces have been held.
Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI, the only Swiss qualified for a Medal Race moved up on the excellent second place overall ! Already underway this morning were also the Lasers Radial with their first race and Maud Jayet SUI advanced on rank 15 overall. However, the backlog is too big to qualify for the Medal Race - rank 10 - in the remaining race. Nils Theuninck SUI finished 5th this morning moving up on the 11th place with an 8 points' deficit on the Medal Race cut. In the 470s, both Swiss teams are in difficulties. Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI are 17th in the men, Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI dropped on rank 20. For Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI, the Enoshima Worldcup is over as with rank 14 after the Qualification, the Medal Race remained 15 points away.
