Big waves and fresh winds from the just passing hurricane 'Michael' still prevailed yesterday at the Star Worlds on the Chesapeak-Bay and racing had to be postponed. Today, closing day of the Championship, two races are on the program.
The title will most probably go to the young Finn sailor Jorge Zarif BRA, his first Goldstar, with Guilherme de Almeida BRA 8 points in front of Paul Cayard/Arthur Lopes USA who, together with the defending Champions Eidvind Melleby/Joshua Revkin NOR still down in the rankings before discard after a discalification, will fight for Silver and Bronze. The Lake Constance team Hubert Merkelbach/Markus Koy GER is on rank 3.
