420, 470 - Winter-Regatta - Imperia ITA - Day 2, the Swiss

After the 470s on Thursday, the 420s joined racing at the Imperia Winter Regatta. In the largest fleet with 59 boats, the 420 boys, Tommaso Cilli/Bruno Mantero ITA are on top after 3 races, 7 points ahead of Alessandro and Federico Calderi ITA. On rank 3 follow Bjarne Studt/Piet Strom GER. Nilo Schärer/Nik Birkhard SUI won a race and are on rank 4.
In the 420 girls, Sophie Steinlein/Oda Haussmann GER are first closely followed by Lucille Frascari/Arianna Lanzetta ITA. Sophie Mosegaard/Fiona Schärer SUI only 4 points behind the leaders,, are on the good 4th position as well.
The 470s have concluded already 6 races. The new leaders are Malte Winkel/Matti Cipra GER 3 points ahead of Martin Wrigley/James Taylor GBR, the only team keeping the pace of the Germans. Yves Mermod/Cyril Schüpbach SUI defend the good 5th position.
