470, Finn, Laser Standard &Radial, 420 - Christmas Race - Palamos ESP - Day 1

More wind than expected (up to 16kn) prevailed yesterday during the first races of the Palamos Christmas Race 2018. All classes completed 3 races each.
Pavel Sozykin/Denis Gribanov RUS took the lead in the 470s ahead of Matteo Capurro/Matteo Puppo ITA. Alexandre Demange/Paco Lepoutre FRA followed on rank 3. Luise and Helena Wanser GER on the 14th place are the best women's team. Nick Zeltner/Till Seger SUI followed on rank 23.
In the Finns, Juan Cardona ESP has taken the lead. Milan Vujasinovic CRO and Alejandro Muscat ESP are the first challengers.
In the Lasers Standard, Joseph Mullan GBR is first in front of Pavel Babich BLR and Mon Canellas ESP. Zeno Fry SUI and Nicolas Rolaz SUI followed on the rank 15 and 16. In the Lasers Radial women, Tatjana Droszdovskaja BLR is on top ahead of Matilda Nicholls GBR and Clementine Thompson GBR. In the Radial men, Arthur Fry GBR has already an advantage of 9 points on Pirmin Sablatnig AUT. The best Swiss Alessandro Maisano SUI is on the 11th place.
In the big 420 fleet, Jacobo Garcia/Antoni Ripoll ESP, Youen Fourn/Mathis Guessard FRA and Pablo Ruiz/Miguel Martinez ESP share the lead at equal points. The best Swiss are Anna and Paula Wollkopf SUI on rank 49 among the 99 teams.
