Figaro 3 - Sardinha Cup - St.Gilles-Croix-de-Vie FRA - Start today

Today, the start will be given to the inaugural race of the Figaro 3 yachts equipped with foils on the occasion of the 2019 Sardinha Cup. 34 two person teams will be on the starting line among them numerous offshore top sailors such as the Vendée-Globe-veterans Loïck Peyron FRA, Mike Golding GBR, Samantha Davies GBR, Yann Elièes FRA or the Volvo-Ocean-Race-winner Charles Caudrelier FRA. Six miixed-two-person teams are on the entry list such as Justine Mettraux SUI racing with Gwenolé Gahinet FRA. The first leg of 147nm runs off the coast of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
