49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - European Championship 2019 - Weymouth GBR - Day 1, the Swiss

Yesterday, the 2019 European Championships of the Olympic speed classes was initiated on the Olympic waters of Weymouth GBR.
Winning three races, Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA mastered the difficult conditions - especially for the foiling Nacras-17 with a breeze around 16kn and considerable waves - the best and have taken the lead ahead of Vittorio Bisarro/Maelle Frascari ITA 3 points behind. Tara Pacheco/Florian Trittel ESP follow on rank 3.
In the 49ersFX, the Youth World Champions Vilma Bobeck/Malin Tengström SWE won two races and are on top overall ahead of the Olympic Champions Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA and Annemiek Bekkering/Annette Duetz NED on 2nd and 3rd.
In the 49ers, teams from down under are on the first positions with Logan Dunning/Oscar Gunn NZL leading on point ahead of a trio with Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL, Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP and Will and Sam Phillips AUS. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI follow as 31st, the developoment teams Max Haenssler/Joshua Richner SUI and Maxime Bachelin/Arno De Planta SUI are on the positions 70 and 71 among the 99 participants.
