Wednesday, August 21, 2019
In Enoshima, the skiffs, the windsurfers and the Nacra 17 have finished their qualifications for the Medal Races of today. The first medallists are already fixed: Yunxiu Lu CHN leads the RS:X-Windsurf women by 17 points and has a medal for sure. Katy Spychakov ISR could overtake her theoretically as the only one. There will probably be a Chinese victory in the RS:X-Windsurfer men as well, the lead of Mengfan Gao CHN is 16 points. In the Nacra-17-Catamarans, Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA are only 2 points ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnett GBR. In 49er the Olympic champions Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL lead with 13 points. In 49erFX Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA moved up to one point to the leading Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR. All rankings.
