This morning UCT, Gilles Lamiré/Antoine Carpentier FRA on their Multi-50-Trimaran took the line honours in Salvador de Bahia BRA after 11 days and 16 hours underway. ----- The first Open 60 'Apivia' of Charlie Dalin/Yann Eliès FRA has 743nm left to the finish line. On the ideal course in the Doldrums, they distanced the rest of the fleet considerably and were the only Open 60 to cross the Equator. New on rank 2 is now 'Banque Populaire' with the mixed team Clarisse Cremer/Armel Le Cléac'h FRA, but their backlog was alreadxy 213nm. The long-time leader 'Charal' with Jérémy Béyou FRA/Christopher Pratt dropped on rank 6 with a 277nm deficit. ----- Alan Roura SUI/Sébastien Audigane FRA follow with a 491nm backlog on rank 21. ----- No change in the Class 40 where Ian Lipinski POL/Adrien Hardy FRA keep a solid lead 50nm ahead of Fabien Delahaye FRA/Sam Goodchild GBR.
