The Laser Radial World Championship in Sandringham AUS was concluded today with a final race held in light winds, that almost ended with a sensation, as the dominating Marit Bouwmeester NED sailed her discard race, while her team mate Maxim Jonker NED finished 5th and reduced her backlog on 2 points, earning Silver. Another point behind followed Line Flem-Höst NOR with Bronze. ----- The day win went to Marie Barrué FRA.
