After five days - 120 hours non-stop without outside assistance -, the World Matchracing Number One Eric Monnin SUI, together with Ute Wagner AUT finished as clear winners of the 2020 Lake Geneva 5-day-race, having covered 416nm mostly in light winds. Loic Forestier/Bruno Engel SUI followed 10nm behind on rank 2. Daniel Bouwmeester/Gaetan Van Campenhoudt SUI completed the podium with only 2nm less sailed as the second-ranked. 39 one-design Surprise yachts completed the race, and only one boat was forced to abandon. The ranking list in distance sailed. ----- A Points ranking list has been established as well adding up the positions when passing the starting line off Vidy in every round. Olivier Légeret/Denis Girardet SUI are the points winner tied with Felix Oberle/Mayeul van den Broek SUI. ----- This two-person long-distance race rounding Lake Geneva in circles for five days has been run annually since 1993 with many two-person-mixed teams ever since. Just do it as it happens at the grassroots! ----- The event website, the final report and the Facebook page with photos and videos.
