Laser Radial & Standard - European Championship 2020 - Gdansk POL - Day 5, the Swiss

Outstanding performance of Anne-Marie Rindom DEN in the Lasers Radial (here in a video interview), who extended the lead on Marit Bouwmeester NED to 20 points before the final races today. New on rank 3 is Vasileia Karachaliou GRE. Maud Jayet SUI follows on rank 7. As best of the day in the Silverfleet (ranks 3/3/8), Rosine Baudet SUI advanced on the 3rd place (= 57th overall). ----- In the Lasers Standard, Michael Beckett GBR remained on top, but Elliot Hanson GBR reduced the backlog on 2 points. Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR is now in the 3rd place. Two last races are on the program today, and fresh winds have been announced. After a promising 4th race rank, Eliot Merceron SUI was forced to abandon the second heat, and remained on rank 48. ----- The situation in the Radial Men is heating up, as the advantage on the long-lasting leader Paul Hameeteman NED is now down on 2 points only, and he will be under attack of Oskar Madonich UKR in the remaining races of today. ----- All ranking lists, the daily news and the video of the day.
