 6mJI  World Championship 2017  Vancouver CAN  Final results  Silver for Ben Mumford CAN (moderns) and for Peter Hofmann USA (classics)
Two more races were sailed on the spare day of the 6 Meter Worlds in Vancouver CAN to complete the program as scheduled with 8 races.
Philipp Durr SUI and his team won one of the races and secured the title 5 pts ahead of Ben Mumford CAN who regained the 2nd place on his home waters, as Andy Beadsworth GBR now on 3rd was penalised after a premature start. Hugo Stenbeck SUI on 4th was only 1 pt behind Bronze and 2 pts behind Silver. Among the best of the day (3/4) was also Reinhard Suhner SUI, advancing on rank 9.
In the Classics, HM Juan-Carlos de Bourbon ESP defended his lead inspite of two medium ranks, grasping the title 3 pts ahead of Peter Hoffmann USA. Bronze went to the two-times Olympic medalist Lars Grael BRA.
