The Final Races at the Para World Championship on Lake Michigan were held yesterday in light and variable winds.
The top-10 of the 2.4m sailed a classic Medal Race. Matthews Bugg AUS succeeded to replace Damien Séguin FRA on top grasping Gold. On rank 3 behind Séguin FRA finished Dee Smith USA 3.
The 10 best Hansa 303 sailed a Semi Final with the best 4 qualifying for the Final. In the Women, Ana Paula Marques BRA won the title ahead of Genevieve Wickham US and Violeta Del Reino ESP. In the Men, Gold went to Christopher Symonds AUS winning ahead of Waldemar Wozniak POL and the defending Champion Piotr Cichocki POL.
In the RS Venture, the dominators of the week Will Street/Jonathan Currell GBR remained on top winning ahead of Enrique Vives/Gabriel Barroso de Maria ESP and John McRoberts/Scott Lutes CAN.
