Various classes - Antigua Bermuda Race 2019 - Day 2 - SHK Scallywag HKG leads ahead of Esprit de Corps CAN

The Dowell 100 SHK Scallywag HKG of David Witt HKG was in the lead in elapsed time this morning 3h UTC ahead of the Volvo 60 Esprit de Corps CAN of Gilles Barbot CAN and the the Grand Mistral 80 Weddell ITA of Afanasy Isaev GBR/RUS. The Lombard 46 Pata Negra GBR of Andrew Lis GBR was the early leader in the IRC Division and the 1938 yawl Mariella ANT of Carlo Falcone ANT was going well in the CSA Class. ---- The 2019 Antigua Bermuda Race fleet set off yesterday from Antigua in sunshine and 20kn trade winds with close to a hundred sailors from 12 nations, including Canada and the USA, taking part in the 935nm offshore race from Antigua to Bermuda. ---- The race tracker with positions, the entry list, the video of the start and the event website.
