After the rough, windy opening day, light winds prevailed yesterday Sunday in Japan and only a reduced program could be held on day 2 of the Olympic test event in Enoshima JPN. ----- Progress has been made by the North Americans: Christopher Barnard is 4 ranks up on 7th in the Lasers Standard, Stuart McNay/David Hughes advanced on 8th in the 470 men, Erika Reineke stays on 6th and Sarah Douglas CAN on 13th in the Lasers Radial, not to forget Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea USA as 12th in the 49ersFX. Please find here the the full list of all North American results and the US Sailing Team report. --------------- The top-ranks per class after day two are as follows: Agnieszka Skrzypulec/Jolanta Ogar POL won the only 470 women race and advanced on rank 1. ----- Jordi Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP defended their lead in the 470 men . ----- In the Lasers Standard, Sam Meech NZL, only 15th, remained on first position overall. . ----- No change on top of the Lasers Radial: The leading three women sailed all their discard results and Maria Erdi HUN stays on the first place. ----- After the two races yesterday, Przybytek/Kolodzinski POL moved on rank 1 in the 49ers . ----- Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR defended their first place in the 49ersFX. ----- Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA extended their lead in the Nacra 17 on 7 points. ----- In the Finns , the Olympic Champion Giles Scott GBR is new on top. ------ Yunxiu Lu CHN won also the light wind race and her overall lead in the RS:X women after two days is already 11 points. ----- No change in the RS:X men with Thomas Goyard FRA remaining on rank 1. ----- All ranking lists and the daily news.
