The races of the day in Japan are over, the first half of the 10 Olympic classes have finished their competitions. As expected Yunxiu Lu CHN was able to hold the top of the RS:X-Windsurf women. Thanks to victory in the Medal Race Charline Picon FRA replaced Katy Spychakov ISR on rank 2. Chinese victory in the RS:X-Windsurfer men as well: Mengfan Gao CHN won ahead of Mattia Camboni ITA and Piotr Myszka POL. In the 49er the Olympic winners Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL won ahead of Lukasz Prszybitek/Pawel Kolodzinski POL and Dylan Fletcher/Stuart Bithell GBR. Changes on the podium of the 49erFX: Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA won gold ahead of Marie Roningen/Helene Naess NOR, Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR fell back to rank 3. Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea USA remained on the 10th place. In the Nacra 17 Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA took gold ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnett GBR and Ben Saxton/Nicola Boniface GBR. ----- All rankings. ----- Please find here the full list of all North American results and the US Sailing Team report.
