Moderate but inconsistent winds and a big swell made for challenging conditions at the start of the international regatta. ----- 470s and 49ers sailed 3 races, the 49erFX finished two races, with Olympic Gold Medallists Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA leading ahead of Jana Germani/Giorgia Bertuzzi ITA. In the competitive 49er fleet, Keanu Prettner/Jakob Flachberger AUT surprisingly took the lead with two race wins. James Peters/Fynn Sterritt GBR follow 3 points behind on rank 2. Dickson/Waddilove IRL and Botin/Trittel ESP share rank 3.
