IMOCA Open 60 - The Ocean Race - Leg 2 - Day 18

As expected, the fleet has moved together on the approach to Cape Town in the dull high-pressure zone. ----- The leading trio 'Malizia' (Yann Eliès FRA), '11th Hour' (Charlie Enright USA, Justine Mettraux SUI), and 'PRB-Holcim' (Kevin Escoffier FRA) are just 2 miles apart .... and this after 18 days of racing 300 miles from the finish! And also 'Biotherm' (Paul Meilhat FRA) 8 miles behind and even 'Guyot' (Robert Stanjek GER/Sébastien Simon FRA), who could reduce their gap from more than 500 miles to just 90 miles this morning, remains in the race for the win.
