ILCA 6 & 7 - European Championship 2023 - Andora ITA - Day 5

Yesterday in Andora there were moderate winds between 8 and 12kn, all the fleets were able to finish two races each. Nothing has been decided before today's final day: In the ILCA 7, Matthew Wear AUS leads by 6 points over Tonci Stipanovic CRO. Another 6 points behind, Duko Bos NED is now 3rd. World Champion Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA is 7th - the ranking ILCA 7 Goldfleet. In the Silverfleet Julian Hoffamnn GER is leading, Gauthier Verhulst SUI could improve with a 3rd heat rank to rank 13 (=75 overall). In the women's ILCA 6 the first 4 are only 5 points apart: Marit Bouwmeester NED is in the lead, 2 points behind Emma Plasschaert BEL, another 3 points behind Vasileia Karachaliou GRE and Anne-Marie Rindom DEN share 3rd place. Léonie Baudet SUI has improved to 37th place in the Silverfleet. In the Men's ILCA 6, Athanasios Kyfidis GRE has taken the lead. The report with links to all rankings.
