Wingfoil - Mondial du Vent - Leucate FRA - Final results

This year, the Mondial du Vent once again attracted numerous spectators to the beaches of Leucate. In addition to the sporting events on the water, there were concerts, animations and freestyle shows on land throughout the Easter weekend. The highlight was the Wingfoiler World Cup, slalom and freestyle were on the programme. In the Slalom Mathis Ghio FRA won both eliminations, Balz Müller SUI crashed in the second run after a 3rd place in the first elimination and finished 18th. On the final day the men's final of the freestyle had to be cancelled. Ex-aequo the finalists Alan Fedit GER and Xavi Corr ESP were celebrated as winners. Third place was shared by Balz Müller SUI and Axel Gerard FRA. Bowien Van der Linden NED won the women's freestyle classification. The report.
