Light winds from 5-10 kn prevailed yesterday for the first time in Clearwater after the windy and rough intial days. All three classes completed the full program.
Outstanding Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL winning all 4 races of their group in the 49ers. The clear leader in the second group is the Olympic Champion Nathan Outteridge/Iain Jensen AUS with the ranks 2/1/3/4, moving up on rank 2 overall 6 points behind the Kiwis. Pink/Bitell GBR and d'Ortoli/Delpech FRA follow on the ranks 3 and 4.
Victoria Jurczok/Anika Lorenz GER took the lead in the 49ersFX after four races with two bullets yesterday. Maiken Foght-Schütt/Anne-Julie Schütt DEN follow two points back. Dobson/Ainsworth GBR are 3rd. The favorites Maloney/Meech NZL and Grael/Kunze BRA advanced on the ranks 4 and 5. The daily news from the two skiff classes.
Three races were sailed by the Nacras 17, and the defending Champions Billy Besson/Marie Riou FRA had another excellent day extending their lead on 25 points. Vittorio Bissarro/Silvia Sicouri ITA and Jason Waterhouse/Lisa Darmanin AUS are now the first persuers. The daily news from the Nacras and all ranking lists.
