GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 1 - Muscat OMN - Final results

For the first time, a consistent fresh breeze around 15 kn provided flying conditions for the foiling GC32 catamatrans during the last day of the Oman Extreme Sailing Series. 'Oman Air' with Morgan Larson USA delivered again an outstanding performance winning two races. The third double-points race saw the 'Red Bull Sailing Team' of Roman Hagara AUT as winner allowing her to move up on rank 2 overall. 'BAR Academy' with Leigh McMillan GBR finished the event on rank 3, while 'Alinghi' with Ernesto Bertarelli SUI lost the podium place with a 6th place in the last crucial heat dropping on 4th with a 3 points' deficit.
