Last Sunday, the 4th race of the 18-Footer New South Wales Championship was sailed on Sydney Harbour, as could be followed livestream on this website in the morning. After the stormy race a week ago, a moderate summer breeze prevailed, and all teams raised the big rigs. Winner with a comfortable 1:40 min advantage was the last year's champion 'Smeg' with Lee Knapton AUS. 'Asko Appliances' with Marcus Ashley-Jones AUS and 'Coopers Rag & Famish Hotels' with Jack Macartney AUS finished 2nd and 3rd. The crucial 5th and last race of the NSW Championship next Sunday (to be followed on these pages as from 4 h UTC) a.m. will be exciting as 'Smeg' and Coopers Rag & Famish' are on top of the interim's rankings at equal points.
