The clearly leading Armel Le Cléac'h FRA will probably round Cape Horn in moderate conditions Saturday. Alex Thompson GBR has again lost some miles on the leader and is now 567 nm behind, roughly 2 days late when rounding Cape Horn. Paul Meilhat FRA sailing on the 3rd place for a long time, has veered direction North. Heading for New Zealand 1'900 nm away mostly in a rough upwind will be hard on his Open 60 with a canting keel suspension damage.
