Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Final results

Sail Melbourne came to an end this morning with two races. ----- In the ILCA 6, Maria Erdi HUN kept the top spot ahead of Zoe Thompson AUS who moved up to second place as best of the day (1/2). Maud Jayet SUI dropped back to third after a premature start. Anja Von Allmen SUI also made a false start but managed to hold on to 7th place, just ahead of former World Champion Emma Plasschaert BEL. ----- In the ILCA 7, the British double victory by Michael Beckett GBR and Elliot Hanson GBR remained. ----- In the other Olympic classes, the Australians kept to themselves: former Laser Olympic champion Tom Burton AUS won together with Max Paul AUS in the 49ers. ----- Oscar Timm AUS won 13 of the 20 races in the Kite-Foil, while in the iQ-Foil windsurfers Grae Morris AUS (15 wins in 16 races) dominated the Men, and in the Womens ranking, Samantha Costin AUS won all 16 races. ----- All rankings.
