5o5 - World Championship 2023 - San Francisco USA - Final results

The 5o5 World Championship was held in San Francisco last week. In the challenging area with mostly fresh winds and strong currents - the San Francis YC is located at the sea entrance of the San Francisco Bay with the corresponding tidal current - 10 races could be sailed. ----- The home teams dominated with a triple victory: Mike Martin/Adam Lowry USA took the title ahead of Eric Anderson/Nic Baird USA and Mike Holt/Carl Smith USA. Best Europeans were Nathan Batchelor/Sam Pascoe GBR on rank 4, Philppe Boite/Marin Carneau FRA were 6th. 60 teams from 8 nations competed. ----- The final ranking.
