49er, 49erFX - European Championship - La Grande Motte FRA - Day 1

Moderate but inconsistent winds characterized the starting day of the 49ers European Championship in the south of France. Both fleets were able to complete three races each. ----- James Peters/Fynn Sterritt GBR lead the 49ers classification with places 1/7/1, followed 2 points behind by James Grummett/Rhos Hawes GBR. Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI got better and better during the day with places 10/8/3 and are 8th. For the time being Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI are behind (58th), they had to accept an early start - the results 49er. ----- The fleet of the 49ersFX is very balanced: Jana Germani/Giorgia Bertuzzi ITA lead the classification with the daily ranks 5/5/5, Ronja Grönblom/Veera Hokka FIN follow 4 points behind, Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea USA are 3rd. - the results 49ersFX. ----- The report and all rankings.
