420, 470 - Winter Regatta - Imperia ITA - first races today, the Swiss

Today begin the 420 and 470 Winter Series in Imperia ITA at the Ligurian coast with 47 470 teams and 154 420 teams from 20 nations in total. Men and women sail in separate fleets.
Only one Swiss team - Meret Vogt/ Ulrich Kaiser SUI - participates in the 470, while in the 420, the Swiss delegation is one of the largest with 17 boats. Among the starters are also Aurelia Fischer/Ilona Hersperger SUI and Nicolas Rolaz/Erwan Lamoureux SUI, the two teams that will represent Switzerland at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Malaysia after Christmas.
