The 8th and Final Act of the Extreme Sailing Series, the last event sailed in X-40-catamarans, to be replaced by the GC-32's next year, began early this monring UTC, and already six heats have been completed.
Leigh McMillan GBR - who else - with his 'The Wave - Muscat' leads, but 'Oman Air' with Stevie Morrison GBR keeps the pace and is 2nd at equal points. 3rd, 2 points behind is 'SAP Sailing Team' with Jes Gram-Hansen DEN still in touch with the leaders. 'Red Bull Sailing Team' with Roman Hagara AUT (and the Swiss Lionel Vaucher) follows on the 5th place.
