Olympic Classes - Copa do Brasil - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Day 3 - the Swiss

The third day of the Copa do Brasil began with light winds, but later in the afternoon, a fresher breeze with up to 15 kn filled in.
Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI iin the 470 men produced a premature start, but with a 6th race rank, they nevertheless kept the excellent 4th interim's position. Matias Bühler/Nathalie Brugger SUI moved up one position on the 7th place in the Nacras 17 with two good race results. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI starting late in the afternoon had the benefit of a fresher breeze, but bad starts impeded an improvement overall in the 470 women, where they remain on rank 13. Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI sailing below his expectations stayed on rank 19 in the RS:X male windsurfers.
