470 M&W, 49er, Laser, Europe - Christmas Race - Palamos ESP - Day 4 - the Swiss

After three days' waiting for wind in Palamos at the Spanish Costa Brava, racing finally began yesterday for all classes. The Swiss sailed quite successfully in the mostly development-oriented fleet. First among the 34 Lasers Radial men after two races is Luca Borsella SUI. Nick Zeltner/Till Seger SUI are on the 7th place among the 42 420-Boys. In the 420-Girls, Sophie Mosegaard/Samira Rast SUI are 15th as best Swiss. Nils Theuninck SUI is 14th among the 39 Lasers Standard and also Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI on the interim's rank 14 in the 49ers midfleet had a remarkable day. The 470 men sailed only one race, and Wagen/Siegwart SUI dropped on rank 22 after a premature start disqualification. The best Swiss are now Cyrill Schüpbach/Yves Mermod SUI as 17th.
