420, 29er, Laser Radial, RS:X, SL-16-Catamaran - ISAF Youth World Championship 2015 - Langkawi MAS, the Swiss

The 2015 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship on the Malayan holiday island Langkawi begins today with the Practice Races. With 430 participants form 80 nations, a record attention has been attained. Switzerland is represented by Wolf Van Cauwenberghe/Romain Defferard SUI in the 29er and the 420s of Aurelia Fischer/Ilona Hersperger SUI and Nicolas Rolaz/Erwan Lamoureux SUI. The 29er-team has good chances for a top-10 ranking, while the two 420 teams have not yet excelled in the preparation regattas.
