Laser Radial - ISAF Youth World Championship 2015 - Langkawi MAS - Day 2

The 2015 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Langkawi Malaysia, with 76 nations one of the largest sporting events in the World, began yesterday, blessed with a 20-25 kn wind. Here the video of the first day. All classes were sailing except the SL-16-catamarans, whose container with the boats did not yet arrive in Langkawi ! Today's racing is already underway in a good 18 kn breeze, and a challenging day is ahead.
Alistair Young AUS took the lead in the Lasers Radial Boys on the opening day and defended this place today with two bullets. Within an 8 to 10 points backlog follow Nicholas Baird USA, Oskari Muhonen FIN, Geore Gautrey NZL and Kirill Eveimyevskiy RUS.
First in the Laser Radial Girls is Magdalena Kwasna POL, 4 points ahead of Maria Erdi HUN at equal points with the 3rd Hanna Andersohn GER. Alexandra Nightingale NZL on 4th is only one point behind.
