470 - African Championship 2016 - Capetown RSA - Olympic berth for Angola

The inaugural African 470 Championship was not only a race for the title, but at the same time an Olympic nations' qualifiers for the African continental berth.
Winners of the Championship were Asenathi Jim/Roger Hudson RSA, already qualified for the Games at the 470 Worlds. The additional entry for Africa went to Angola, with Matias Montinho/Paixao Afonso ANG as best non-South-African team on rank 6.
