18 Footer - Australian Championship 2016 - Sydney AUS - Race 4

Race 4 of the Australian 18-footer Nationals was sailed on last Sunday in a 10-12 kn breeze. 'Coopers 62 Rag & Famish Hotels' with Jack MaCartney/Peter Harris/Joel Castle AUS were the winners 1 min 26 sec ahead of 'Gotta love it 7', with Seve Jarvin AUS back as helmsman. In view of the JJ Giltinan Trophy in February, the inofficial World Championship of the 18-footers, Jarvin has taken a leave from the America's Cup to go for his 8th title. Overall leader in the Australian Nationals is still 'Smeg' 6 points ahead of 'Thurlow Fisher Lawyers'. On the coming Sunday, the 5th and last race of the Nationals will take place. On February 13, the first race of the JJ Giltinan will be started.
