Laser Radial & Standard - European Championship 2016 - Las Palmas ESP - Final results - Maud Jayet SUI on rank 12 !

The Laser Standard and Radial European Championship 2016 on Gran Canaria ended yesterday with three races sailed in a moderate 8 to 12 kn breeze.
Maud Jayet SUI enjoyed her favorite wind conditions and was among the best of the day with the ranks 3/26/7 bringing her on the excellent 12th final position in the Lasers Radial women European rankings. In the Open rankings, she is on position 15 just behind the past World Champion Paige Railey USA. A highlight in the career of Maud Jayet SUI ! Lucie Ben-Amor SUI, disqualified in the last race, finished on the remarkable 40th place overall in her first Goldfleet race at a major Championship. Andrea Nordquist SUI is 59th in the 99 boats' fleet.
Guillaume Girod SUI could not match the good results of the previous days in the Lasers Standard and terminated the Europeans on the open rank 58, and the 51st place in the European classification. Sailing in the Silverfleet, Nils Theuninck SUI had a good day with the ranks 7/2/6 finishing as 3rd (= 66th overall). Janik Roempp SUI and Luciano Antonietti SUI are on the ranks 118 and 123.
