Another perfect day for sailing today on Biscayne Bay with 12 knots of wind to from the southeast and sunshine (Paul Cayard dixit).
Robert Stanjeck/Fritjof Kleen (GER) and Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi (ITA) started the day tied on top of the rankings duelling for the Bacardi victory, and the Germans made it clear right from the start holding the Italians behind in an exciting top level race and winning one point ahead. Augie Diaz USA/Bruno Prada BRA defended the 3rd place. Christoph Gautschi/Nils Holweg SUI terminated the regatta on the good 18th overall position. Dannesboe/Bonhöffer SUI and Wyss/Joss SUI followed on the ranks 28 and 50 among the 67 teams.
