Olympic Classes - Training Camp Trophy - El Arenal ESP - Day 2, the Swiss

The 470s sailed only sail one race on the second day of the Training Camp Regatta on Palma Bay. Simon Diesch/Philipp Autenrieth GER defended their lead in the 470 men with a 3rd race rank. Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI advanced on rank 2. Amy Seabright/Anna Carpenter GBR stayed on top of the 470 women, but Marina Gallego/Fatima Reyes ESP reduced the backlog on 3 points. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI kept the 6th place, but with a 10th race rank, it was a mediocre day. The 49ers have already completed 6 heats and the new leaders are Tita/Zucchetti ITA at equal points with the day's best Warrer/Lübeck DEN. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI descended on rank 12. Winning the only race of the day, Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Duetz NED are now the sole leaders in the 49ersFX. The complete Nacra 17 fleet was racing yesterday after day one with only two teams 'matchracing'. Billy Besson/Marie Riou FRA won all three heats and are the clear leaders ahead of Moana Vaireaux/Manon Audinet FRA.
