GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 1 - Muscat OMN - Start today with Alinghi

The Extreme Sailing Series 2016 begins today in Oman for the first time with the foiling GC32 catamarans. 8 teams are on the entry list, among them 'Alinghi' with Ernesto Bertarelli SUI, Nicolas Charbonnier FRA, Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI, Nils Frey SUI and Yves Detrey SUI. The competition will start with a Coastal Race, followed by 'Stadium-Racing' with short races just in front of the Muscat harbour. The preview and the event website, where the results will be posted early this afternoon.
As from Friday, the races will be presented in the livestream window on top of the sailing-news homepage.
