A very busy Easter Weekend, the Swiss

As every year, the Easter Weekend marks the very beginning of the European regatta season ! And the 365-days' sailing-news service will as always cover all activities daily with updates on 6 a.m. UTC.
Main events, in addition to the Garda Optimist Meeting are the Spring-Cup der Lasers, 420s and 470s in Izola SLO with 180 boats on the entry lists and the Spi Ouest in La Trinité FRA with 360 teams, among them Bernard Stamm SUI with his Diam-24-trimaran and Martin Flück SUI with his Grand Surprise. Swiss participation also in the Selection Interliegue of the Optimists in Hyéres FRA. The Laser Radial- and Laser-4.7 youth sailors are in Malcesine/Lake Garda, among the sailors a major Swiss delegation. As every year, the Swiss Windsurfers open the season in Hyéres at the Marco Polo-Cup on the famous Almanarre beach.And not to forget the Kiteboarding Worlds in Egypt
The top event is of course the Trofeo Princesa Sofia of the Olympic Classes on Mallorca, with a record participation and probably light to moderate winds. For the Swiss 470s, this is the last chance to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
In der Switzerland, the Dragons, Dolphins and 5.5m sail their Easter Regatta on Lake Thoune.
