As 7th nation in the 470 men, Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI remain on track for the Swiss Olympic selection target (12th nation) with the day ranks 2 and 17, but the selection limit is only 8 points away ! No bad result is permitted, as the Swiss have the load of an early start disqualification on their results sheet. Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI for the first time in the Goldfleet, lost some places in the first two Final Races and are now 36th. The 470 women Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI had a very bad day. During the first race, they had to repair the bottom leech and lost many places. In the second race, they were forced to two penalty circles after a right-of-way infringement.
Joao Siemsen BRA/Nathalie Brugger SUI on their Nacra-17 could not repeat the top results of the previous days and dropped on rank 11 with three two-digit results.
Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI are now 43rd in the 49er Silverfleet.
The RS:X windsurfer Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI finished 21st and descended on rank 17 overall.
Maud Jayet SUI sailed two good races (ranks 9 and 15) in the Laser Radial Goldfleet and advanced on the 25th place overall. The best Swiss in the Lasers Standard is now Guillaume Girod SUI on rank 57, as Christoph Bottoni SUI did not compete yesterday.
