The weather on the Ijssel-Meer remained frosty cold on the second day of the Championship and the passing polar-air fronts produced winds of up to 20 kn, with intermitted lulls around 5 kn. Three races were completed with Charlie Cumbley GBR winning two and taking the overall lead one point ahead of Bo Peterson DEN. Thomas Hakansson-Mild SWE dropped on rank 3.
