Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Semaine Olympique - Hyères FRA - Day 4 - Maud Jayet SUI qualified for Medal Race

In a fresher breeze, Maud Jayet SUI defended yesterday her 7th place in the Lasers Radial and qualified for the first time in a the Medal Race of a Worldcup event. The girl from Lausanne, age 20, missed the Olympic selection criteria in Palma by 6 points only and confirmed now in Hyères the impressive progress she has made. For all other Swiss, the Worldcup event in the South of France is over. Matias Bühler/Nathalie Brugger SUI dropped on rank 14 in the last races yesterday and missed the Medal Race by 16 points. Thanks to their first top-10 finish, Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI slighly improved their result in the 470 men with the 19th position. David Biedermann/Max Haenssler SUI are 37th in their first Worldcup regatta. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI remained on the 23rd place in the 470 women. The windsurfer Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI remained on rank 13 and missed the Medal Race by 20 points. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI finished the Worldcup in the 49ers on rank 35. Lucie Ben-Amor SUI is 23rd in the Lasers Radial.
