IMOCA Open 60, Class 40, Multi 50, Ultime - The Transat - Plymouth GBR - Day 3

The fleet is still chasing South at winds with peaks of up to 35 kn, and the leading big trimarans rush at speeds above 30 kn. Thomas Coville FRA with his 'SodebO' leads in the Ultime Class, 22 miles ahead of Yves Leblevec FRA ('Actual') sailing on a more northern route. First in the Multi 50 is still Lalou Roucayrol FRA maintaining a route in the North. His advance on the 2nd-ranked Gilles Lamiré FRA is 38 miles. New on top of the Open 60 is now Armel Le Cléac'h FRA with his brand-new foiling 'Banque Populaire' replacing the previous leader Vincent Riou FRA on the conventional 'PRB'). Thibaut Vauchel FRA is first in the Class 40 with a 9 miles advace on Phil Sharp GBR.
