5o5 - Eurocup 2016 - Hyères FRA - Day 1, the Swiss

The first 5o5 Europacup Regatta of the 2016 season began yesterday on Hyères Bay with sun and a fresh East wind around 20 kn. Two races were completed and US teams have taken the lead. Mike Holt/Carl Smit USA are first with the ranks 1 and 3 closely followed by Howie Hamlin/Jeffrey Nelson USA and Andy Smith/Tom Needham GBR. Stauffer/Jacot SUI, Jacot/Jacot SUI and Marti/Betschen SUI follow on the ranks 16-18 among the 50 teams from 8 nations.
