Star - Swiss Championship 2016 - YC Rapperswil - Final results

Light winds also on the last day of the Star Swiss Championship 2016 in Rapperswil/Lake Zurich. The final 6th race according to the NoR was won by Bernhard Seger/Walter Oess SVB grasping the Champion's title one point ahead of Beat Hunziker/Vincent Nagelisen SCH. For Seger, multiple Swiss Champion in a variety of classes and Whitbread veteran, this is the second Star title after 1986 ! Hunziker/Nagelisen SCH failed at the start of the last race, abandoned as a consequence and the title went to the Lake Constance team without the final duel. The local team Jürg Ryffel/Alex Gouda YCR finished 3rd on their home waters.
