After the start yesterday by noon, the 36 Minis advanced rapidly in a fresh 20 kn Eastwind and have rounded the most northern point of Brest this morning already. On the first position is the favorite Ian Lipinski POL 8 miles ahead of Simon Koster SUI. On rank 3 follows the first Series Mini of Pierre Chedeville FRA 3 miles behind Koster. Yann Burkhalter SUI is 18th among the 26 Series Minis. 350 miles are left to the finish.
